FLASH! (ah-ah)....

...and some other things

I've got a couple of flash pieces to present today. Then I have a photoshop piece! Let's get started:

The first flash item was our first major project for my flash class. It's a frame-by-frame animation of...well, a guy hitting a baseball. Bonus points to whoever can see one of the big mistakes I made! Whoever wins gets.....something. Maybe a request?

The second piece is a flash game I'm trying to get developed. It's a simple "maze" generator right now, but I hope to get it into a fully functional game with all the bells and whistles. Options, decent graphics, and hopefully a little fun. For now, enjoy the mastery of what only I understand! (/snobby joke)

Finally, I worked on a rock band poster for the band "The Raygunomics". The lead singer of the local cover band is an alumni of Westwood, so he commissioned my class to whip up some gig posters for his group. Mine will be used for the gig described down in Colorado Springs. It might be used as posters or just web content, I'm not sure. Either way, it makes for a nice portfolio piece. Everyone please enjoy and critique!

is the mistake where the right foot moves closer to the left?

I can't see anything wrong. I lose!

jeff is guessing the position of the bat relative to in front of and behind the feet.

i don't get the maze thing. does it do anything yet?

and i like the poster! i especially like the part about the thirsty parrot, because that's what i have on my hands right now.

Elicia saw one of the mistakes! Yay for you, squish. You get a request!

Jeff, unfortunately, did not. Sorry! The bat is supposed to go in front of the feet as the man swings the bat up.

There are still two mistakes! Keep guessing

Oh, and the maze thing doesn't do anything but create a new one each time you hit the generate button. I'm still working on it.

sweet!!! will you model my car? (without all the dents and such please)

does it have to do with him getting taller?

@ Dianna- Yup! You got another one. By the time I was wrapping up the animation so it would loop seamlessly, he had grown a few inches. So I had to weasel the last part so I could get him back to normal height!

Congrats! You get a request, too. Elicia will get her car (eventually) and you can have what you want.

There's still one more mistake I know of!

Your getting way good.

I don't know. :) I lose too.

Are his feet too straight ahead? Should they be turned toward the viewer a little?

Its good stuff Ben, keep up the good work!

Can you use Pres. R. in an ad that has not been approved by someone representing Res. R. (I know he is gone, but is there a law?)

Jus wondering.

i want one of those stamps but with the aquarius on it instead!

Elicia said...

what is the other mistake? or are you just trying to fool us? :)

There's still one more mistake out there! I ain't lyin.

The car request will take some time, so please be patient. The aquarius stamp will show up in my stamp bar in the next day or so, but you'll have to catch me online sometime if you want a copy of the file. (evil grin)

do we get to hear what the last mistake was?

Ben said...

oh right. Sorry. The last mistake.

Keep an eye on where his legs meet the body. When he gets hit with the ball, his legs actually change size several times!

ah ha! i see it! guess i missed it before because it was sort of covered by the bat.

- not jeff.
