Bors the Robot

Hey all, since school is going to start again soon and one of my main classes will be Introduction to Photoshop, I thought it would be a good idea to practice a bit. I don't know that much about real ART in photoshop, but I've used it before and picked up a few points that help. So I thought I'd start with some coloring. I went and found a pencil sketching of a robot online and used that as my reference.

I got this sketch from a guy named Jeff Bell. I didn't think I'd do very well, but I liked the results so much that I contacted him and got his permission to post it on a couple sites. If you're looking at this, Jeff, leave a comment and let me know what you think!

Same goes for everyone else. I'd like all the criticism you can come up with to help me improve. And while you're at it, go and support Jeff by checking out his site and work.

MStevenson said...: I like the texture that the browns give to this piece. I also like that his eye is blue not red. Red for eyes is over done I think.
