Creatures

Hello all. I know I said I'd have the second Icarus poster up LAST week, but the prof. held our portfolios for grading. I have it with me now, and I just need to get it somewhere I can scan it so I can post it. The new term has begun, and I'm taking another 3 classes: Color theory, College writing, and Personal Relations. The latter 2 are general ed classes and mostly throw-aways if you ask me. Color Theory is going to be a lot of fun though, I can tell. Will have stuff to post for you soon.

In the meantime, I've been playing around with Spore. The Spore creature creator, to be precise. It's a lot of fun to go and create your own creatures and have them automatically come to life! Here are a couple of vids for you.

First, Bill and Bob. It looked to me like there were two creatures, one attached to the other, so I called them...Bill and Bob!

The second I made especially for those in the know. :P I call him Bumpy.

I must not be in the know. . . Not really surprising, just disappointing!

Looks like you are having fun, though!

Now if you could do the alien and caveman too . . .

So...will you still talk to the rest of us when you're a big animator guy or what?

Dianna: I'm playing through it now, and though it isn't what it was hyped up to be, I still think it's fun. It's mostly a toy for making things with. :)

Barb: Of course I will! I didn't do the animations for these creatures, it does them for me automatically. No need to feel so out-classed YET. :P

All: Bumpy is in reference to Bump in the Night. The old stop-motion TV show us three kids used to watch all the time.

i remember we spent agonizing time trying to figure out how to video tape that show.

I still go "green GOOD blue BAD" and no one knows what i'm talking about.
